Legacy Work & End-of-Life Companioning
I offer relational and creative support to those approaching the end of life, grieving, or simply seeking space to reflect on meaning, memory, and what matters. My role is not clinical or logistical—it’s companionship, collaboration, story-holding, and nervous system presence.
You don’t need a diagnosis to begin. You don’t even need clarity. We start with a conversation.
What to Expect
Initial Consultation
We begin with no-pressure 1-hour conversation—by phone, in person, over zoom, or while walking. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other, ask questions, and sense whether it feels right to continue.
If you’d like to move forward, I’ll offer an intake form that helps shape our time together.
Ongoing Sessions
Most people find it helpful to begin with a bundle of five 1-2-hour visits, held weekly or biweekly. These can include:
Story-sharing and legacy recording conversations
Quiet presence or guided reflection
Artistic or tactile practices (writing, textiles, memory objects)
Grief-tending or emotional processing
Gentle walking, silence, or companionship in nature
I also offer case-by-case session structures depending on your needs and my own capacity.
Exchange & Reciprocity
This offering is given by donation or trade—never expected, always appreciated.
Contributions support my time, travel, materials, and continued education in this field. Trades might include homegrown produce, handmade items, or other shareable skills and services - lets discuss what feels right.
If finances are a barrier, that’s okay. Presence is the priority.
About Me
I’m a hospice-trained companion, death doula, artist, gardener, and care worker. I’ve spent many years tending grief and beauty through art making, bodywork, community, and creative practice.
I work slowly. I listen closely. I believe in non-linear meaning making and the power of crossing thresholds together.

Seeds for Somatics
This offering is part of a longer path. I’m slowly saving toward certification as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, a training that deepens my ability to support grief and nervous system healing in death and legacy work.
If you’d like to contribute to that path, you can do so here:
Or via e-transfer: paleillusions@gmail.com (note: “seeds”)
Thank you for helping me grow something steady and true.
